Great, strong quality for any size book I've had to read so far! I can fit a larger sized book, plus my kindle and bookmarks in the pockets. It's better than described honestly. It has gotten snagged going into my backpack a few times, so there are a couple loose threads from the embroidery now, but wear and tear is to be expected.
